We can’t wait to meet you! The Alpha Nederland Training & Inspiration takes place on Saturday, the 10th of January. Due to the winter weather, the event will be hosted online via Zoom. We’re looking forward to seeing you online!

At this event, you’ll be inspired, trained and equipped to get started with the course of your interest. We have incorporated all the highlights of the Alpha Nederland Training & Inspiration into a wonderful online programme. This way, you and your team will still be equipped and trained to get started with your course!

Whether you’ll be running a course for the first time, are an experienced team lead or just want to discover one of the courses in an accessible way: you are so welcome!

Do you already have a course team formed in your church? Awesome! If the weather conditions allow it, it can be great fun to follow this online training day together with your team. Get a cake, prepare a nice lunch, and experience the day together! 🍰

Will the Alpha Nederland Training & Inspiration continue?

You can’t have failed to notice the images of snowmen, igloos and skidding cars over the past few days. Because we want everyone to be able to attend the Alpha Nederland Training & Inspiration event this Saturday, we have decided to hold it online via Zoom.

We have incorporated all the highlights of the Alpha Nederland Training & Inspiration into a wonderful online programme, so you won’t miss a thing. This way, you and your team will still be equipped and trained to get started with your course!

What about the tickets I paid for?

Although the training day will not take place in person, we have already incurred costs for it, and an online training day is not free either. We therefore hope that you will consider the amount paid as a donation. This will help us enormously!

However, we realise that this is not possible for everyone. If, for financial reasons, you would like to receive (part of) the amount back, we fully understand. In that case, please feel free to contact us, we will be happy to help you find a solution.

Can I follow a programme that fits my own context?

For Alpha, Alpha Youth, the (Pre)Marriage Course and From Course to Culture, there will be breakout room sessions during the programme. This ensures you are fully equipped for the course you will be running.

If you are following the Alpha Netherlands Training & Inspiration together with several people at one location, please make sure there are enough laptops/screens available. This way, everyone can – if needed – join the programme that best fits their own context.

Is translation available?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer centrally organized translation online. This is because we had to convert the programme to an online programme at very short notice. Therefore, we would like to ask you if there are any possibilities within your team regarding translation? For example, your team could meet in person this Saturday and have someone translate. If this is not possible, we would be happy to discuss with you what kind of personalized training and inspiration is possible after Saturday.

How does Zoom work?

1. Download Zoom. When you click on the link, you will be asked to download Zoom. You can do this by clicking on “Download & Run Zoom”.
2. Open Zoom. Once you have downloaded Zoom, a pop-up screen will ask if you want to open Zoom Meetings. Click on “Open Zoom Meetings”. You will automatically be taken to the waiting room.
3. Turn on your video and microphone. Once the organiser has added you, click on “Join with Video” in the pop-up screen. You will now be visible in the training session. Next, click on “Join with Computer Audio” in the pop-up screen. Now the other participants can hear you too.

Are you participating with your phone or tablet?

Download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app from the App or Play Store. You can then open the link for the training session. Don’t forget to turn on your video and microphone. To turn on your microphone, click on “Dial in”; to turn on your video, click on “Start video”.

Where can I find the Zoom link?

If you have registered for the Alpha Netherlands Training & Inspiration using the form below, you will have received an email on 8 January 2026 containing the Zoom link you need to participate.

How do I obtain the course materials?

You can easily order the materials for the courses from the Alpha Netherland Bookshop. Materials ordered this weekend will be shipped on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 January.

When is the next training day?

Are you going to lead an Alpha course for the first time and will you be starting your Alpha after Easter? Then you are welcome to attend the Alpha Training Day on 7 March at our office in Bunnik. Please note: there is room for a maximum of 50 participants. More information can be found here.
